I was not only pleased with the work that was done, the price, and the timing but the people involved. There is no large waiting room or television to help pass the time but the people, my cellphone and the great weather made up for that. I could have gone to the Oakton Giant to shop but I did not need anything. I simply drank the free coffee, talked with the courteous staff, read my novel on my cellphone and waited quietly. The vibration is at wheel speed and present at speeds above 30 mph; braking is not needed to create the vibration. Wheels were rebalanced twice, off the car, without eliminating the vibration.Took the car to the dealer where the tech identified the brake rotors as the cause. This fits with the lack of improvement by balancing wheels off the car.New service manager, on the phone, promised to "make it right." On a road test the vibration was clearly present, not denied by the service manager, but he contended that such vibration is normal and refused further work to fix it. His "normal" judgement on the new vibration is questionable; despite "30 years in the business" he equates 'imbalanced' with 'warped' when referring to to rotors (these are different conditions).9 months ago

Absolutely no problems with fueling. But, for the first time (and the first time ever in my life) I decided to get my car washed at this Sonoco station. I asked for the Premium service for $12 but the cashier rang me up for the $10 service. I looked at my receipt when I punched in my car wash number before driving into the car wash. After the wash, the sides of my car where still caked with salt from the recent snow storm. There wasn't much of a difference after the wash. I was very disappointed but thought that this is what I have to expect is the $10 wash very light salt layer on my car. This experience was a heads up that I will never again get my car washed at Sonoco. I'm also going to refuel at the new gas station at Costco when I can, but continue to use Sonoco elsewhere.
